About the therapist

Michael Borhi is a Licensed Massage Therapist based in NYC. He studied massage therapy at The Swedish Institute, and later studied Thai Massage at the renowned International Training Massage School in Chiang Mai, Thailand. His work is an artful blend of the two modalities for a therapeutic, relaxing, and healing session.

Before entering the world of massage therapy, Michael was a Music Licensor, assisting producers in finding the perfect song for their ad or independent film. The years spent working in that industry helped cultivate his skill in elevating an experience with music. This care and curation of music not only manifests in his private sessions, but led to the creation of an event called Dreamstate - a group massage experience with a live ambient DJ set. Dreamstate occurs once a month and is designed to lift you out of the everyday and into a floating, sensory experience of touch and sound.
